Robin Denise Hall, age 50, of Taylorsville, passed away after an extended illness at her residence with Hospice of Alexander County on Friday, August 22, 2014 surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Iredell County, NC on April 12, 1964 to the late Ernest J. and Ollie Mae James Russell. Robin was employed with Shurtape, Levittes Furniture, the Alexander County School System, and Walmart over the years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and participated in VBS, the nursery, and the nursery department of Sunday School. Robin was a foster parent as well as home schooling her own children. She is survived by husband, King Junior Hall Jr. of the home; daughters; Brittany Fox and husband Kyle of Taylorsville, Emily Hall of the home, son; Jonathan Hall of the home; a granddaughter; Kylie Fox of Taylorsville; with another grandchild on the way; mother in law; Grace Hall of Taylorsville, brother; Randy Russell and wife Christine of Conover; brother-in-law: Doug Hall and wife Penny of Taylorsville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Taylorsville, NC. Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church with the Pastor Steve Dagenhart officiating. Inurnment will be with the family.

You were our neighbors when we lived on Highland Ave. many years ago. We had many a good time playing together when we were kids. I’m sorry to hear about the passing of your wife. May God’s Peace fill the void left in her passing.

JR I am so sorry to hear this news. Robin was a wonderfull person. I am sure she is shining in heaven now. We were good friends back in the day and I always new that she would be a great mother and I do believe she was. May God be with you and your children during this time and after .
